Subject: purchasing vsx 515 & speakers
Comment: 6mnths ago purchased a pioneer vsx515 and 2 sets of xarus speakers(50hrs of running in)and at newyears we had a party and found this format performs poorly in playing music via DVD.when playing a song with the volume between 24 -28 it switches itself off citing an overload.I was informed by a technician the reason is because dvd players deliver between 1.5/2volts curtailing your volume.If I had known this outcome I would not have made the purchase as it does not function to how I presumed it would.In future perhaps you should make people aware of these limitations.I have no issue with your services just the product.Maybe someone can enlighten me on how or is there a way to overcome this.if I play some music I want control of the volume
